Hair-Smoothing Council To Ask CIR To Reconsider Methylene Glycol

At its June 10-11 meeting, the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel will hear a presentation from the Professional Keratin Smoothing Council and consider altering its initial “unsafe” assessment for methylene glycol used in heated hair-smoothing products.
