Apotex assesses global presence

Apotex is considering in which countries around the world it wishes to compete. Media reports have suggested the privately-owned Canadian generics firm – which has just revised its senior management team, putting president and chief operating officer Jeff Watson in charge of day-to-day operations (Generics bulletin, 2 February 2018, page 1) – is looking to divest its European business. India’s Aurobindo is rumoured to be interested.
