Two-year certificates of supplementary protection (CSPs) will cost Canadians C$392 million (US$302 million) per year, according to an analysis conducted by the office of the country’s Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO). CSPs were introduced in Canada under the terms of the country’s Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) with the European Union (EU).
