Autumn has brought a flurry of personnel changes with Kyowa FujiFilm getting a new president and AZ a new executive vice president for the international region. Fosun and the medtech firm, Median Technologies, have also seen personnel movement.

Alcon Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Japan, a Novartis AG subsidiary, has appointed Shoichiro Ogawa as its new president. Ogawa was special counsel and head, commercial excellence, at Abbott Japan Co. Ltd.'s diagnostics division.

Ogawa is no stranger to Alcon where he worked in 2013 as director of its pharmaceuticals business unit. Born in 1968, Ogawa started his career in 2001 when he joined Boston Consulting Group
