The European Commission’s newly-published Pharmaceutical Strategy features a range of proposals related to generics and biosimilars, including “targeted policies” to improve competition, remove barriers and increase uptake.

“Targeted policies” aimed at improving the conditions for generic and biosimilar competition, removing barriers to market and increasing uptake and patient access have been put in motion by the European Commission as part of its Pharmaceutical Strategy for Europe announced today.
