Appoints New Chair And Vice-Chair From Pharmascience And Apotex

Canada’s off-patent industry association has looked to Pharmascience and Apotex for its new chair and vice-chair.

Pharmascience chief operating officer Jean-Guy Goulet and Apotex commercial vice-president for Canada and the Caribbean, Ray Shelley, have been respectively named as the new chair and vice-chair of the Canadian Generic Pharmaceutical Association. Both were unanimously elected to their new positions.

Goulet – who joined Pharmascience in 2017, having previously held senior management positions at Ratiopharm, Watson and Actavis – was elected to the position of chair after having previously served as vice-chair of the CGPA
