The originator is considering an appeal.

Merck Sharp and Dohme has been fined €38.9m ($39.0m) by Spanish competition regulator the CNMC for abusing its dominant position by blocking Insud Pharma’s rival to the Nuvaring vaginal contraceptive ring.

Amgen told investors during its 1 May first-quarter earnings call that its Pavblu biosimilar to Eylea 2mg had flown out of the gates, while Regeneron admitted “some difficult news related to our retinal franchise.”
