IGBA Kicks Off Biosimilars Week With New White Paper

Urges Regulators To Adopt Principles Of Revised WHO Biosimilars Guideline

The IGBA has kicked off its third annual global biosimilars week awareness campaign with the release of a white paper that urges stakeholders to recognize and adopt recommendations from the WHO’s latest revised biosimilars guideline.

A third global biosimilars week awareness campaign running from 14-18 November has been launched by the International Generic and Biosimilar Medicines Association, with the IGBA also taking this opportunity to launch a new white paper that urges the uptake of recommendations from the World Health Organization’s latest revised biosimilars guideline from earlier this year.

“In the week ahead, IGBA will renew its commitment to the collaborative effort to establish worldwide biosimilar policies that deliver better health outcomes and biologics access equity for more patients,” the association said, with the third annual iteration of the campaign supported by
