Another commonly prescribed generic in the US has fallen to shortages, as the country battles with a particularly fierce winter flu season.

Following shortages across the US for generic versions of two highly prescribed medicines, Adderall (mixed amphetamine salts) and the antibiotic amoxicillin, another is now in short supply – oseltamivir, or Tamiflu, the antiviral used to treat and prevent influenza A and influenza B.
