Off-patent industry association Medicines for Ireland has announced a new leadership team amid negotiations on a new local pricing agreement. Meanwhile, UK body the BGMA has named a new vice-chair. And active pharmaceutical ingredients firm EuroAPI has made two additions to its executive committee following the recent departure of its CEO.

Irish off-patent industry association Medicines for Ireland has appointed a new chair and vice-chair, as the association prepares for the negotiation of a new national pricing agreement with the country’s government.

Paul Neill, director of generic medicines for Teva Pharmaceuticals Ireland, will be the new chairperson of MFI; while Melissa Fisher, country manager at Viatris, will be vice-chair. Neill had previously served as vice-chair of the association
