Firms ink two three-year distribution agreements, one giving USSC non-exclusive, worldwide rights to market General Surgical Innovation's Spacemaker surgical balloon dissectors for use in hernia repair and incontinence procedures. In return, GSI acquires non-exclusive, worldwide rights to market USSC's ProTack mesh fixation device as part of a complete hernia repair kit. In February, GSI's exclusive rights agreement with Ethicon for the Spacemaker was downgraded to nonexclusive, opening the door for USSC
