GAO Review Of HCFA's IR Authority May Be Complete In One Month

A review by the General Accounting Office of the Health Care Financing Administration's expanded inherent reasonableness authority under the Balanced Budget Act of 1997 may be ready within a month, according to staffers of the House Ways and Means/Health Subcommittee.
