Implantable Device Carve-Outs From HCFA Outpatient PPS Proposed By HIMA

The Health Care Financing Administration should "carve out" all implantable devices from its proposed prospective payment system (PPS) for outpatient hospital departments, the Health Industry Manufacturers Association suggests in July 28 comments.
