Medtronic.com Patient Monitoring E-Business To Expand Revenue Streams

Seeking to accelerate the convergence of biomedical and information technologies, leverage the growth of the Internet and generate new revenue streams, Medtronic announced Jan. 24 the formation of "Medtronic.com" as the focal point of a fledgling patient management business to complement its extensive cardiac implant and other device businesses.
