Orthopedic recovery products manufacturer acquires orthopedic sports medicine device maker DePuy Orthopaedic Technology from Johnson & Johnson. The buy will complement dj Orthopedics' current orthopedics offerings and expand its sports medicine line. Consolidated net revenues of the two companies for 1999 would have been $164 mil.
