HCFA Will Not Reduce Outpatient "Pass-Through" Payments In 2001

The Health Care Financing Administration has decided not to institute a planned 50% reduction in special "pass-through" payments for new technology items under the hospital outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS) in 2001.
