Japan Ready To Merge 500 Products Into Function-Based Payment System

The Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare is planning to complete the transfer of 55 categories of devices with incremental improvements - C-1 products - into the country's revamped "by-function" reimbursement system as early as this summer.
