Scully Nominated As HCFA Chief, Will Develop OPPS New Category Criteria

Establishing criteria to use in the creation of additional "pass-through" device categories for HCFA's outpatient prospective payment system (OPPS) will be one of the initial tasks facing incoming agency administrator Thomas Scully, currently President and CEO of the Federation of American Hospitals.
