HCFA's Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) should accommodate quarterly updates to expedite access to new technologies, House Ways & Means Committee/Health Subcommittee Chair Nancy Johnson (R-Conn.) and Ranking Member Pete Stark (D-Calif.) suggest in a May 14 letter to HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson.
