HCFA Reorganized Into Three Centers, Given New Name

The division of the Health Care Financing Administration's management responsibilities into three distinct centers represents the "first in a series of changes" to make the agency more beneficiary friendly and service oriented, HHS Secretary Tommy Thompson said June 14 in kicking off the restructuring.
