Former Kansas senator and Republican presidential candidate, 77, receives Cook Zenith minimally invasive stent graft treatment for an abdominal aortic aneurysm at the Cleveland Clinic June 27. Performed by Kenneth Ouriel, MD, the procedure is part of Cook's 380-patient trial comparing the Zenith to open surgical AAA repair. Cook expects FDA approval of the Zenith by early 2002
