CMS Readies Use Of “Inherent Reasonableness” Authority On Lab Tests

Hepatitis C viral load tests will be among the first diagnostics to experience higher payment under CMS' "inherent reasonableness" authority, according to Ambulatory Services Division Director Don Thompson
