Proposal Would Slash Physician Imaging Payments, Despite CMS Restraint

The 2007 proposed Medicare Physician Fee Schedule includes large payment reductions for imaging, as mandated by legislation, despite the fact that CMS is holding back on an earlier proposal to increase cuts for multiple imaging procedures performed in one session
