510(k) Report: Semantics Scuttle FDA's Split-Predicate Recommendation

Of the original 55 recommendations in FDA made last August for the 510(k) program and its use of science in regulatory decision-making, the agency has decided to outright nix only one: the recommendation to eliminate the use of so-called split predicates.
