CMS Proposes Bundling Medicare Pay For Certain Device-Dependent Items And Services

In its draft rule for the 2014 hospital outpatient prospective payment system, CMS is proposing to package Medicare payment for seven categories of items and services with their primary device-dependent procedures, and to create 29 comprehensive ambulatory payment classifications to replace existing ones.
