Stakeholders Support Revision Of National Coverage Determination For Cardiac Pacemakers

Stakeholders support the Heart Rhythm Society and the American College of Cardiology’s request that CMS update the 27-year-old clinical indications for group II, dual-chamber pacemakers.

The current national coverage determination for cardiac pacemakers is outdated and the clinical indications for these devices should be revised, according to several professional societies and other stakeholders.
