Surgery Recovery Protocol Promotion Funded By Edwards Foundation

Following the advice of a multi-stakeholder group that met in June, the Center for Medical Technology Policy and Avalere Health are founding a new forum to improve and accelerate the U.S. adoption of enhanced recovery protocols that can reduce mortality and morbidity following surgery.

The Edwards Lifesciences Foundation has awarded a grant to the Center for Medical Technology Policy (CMTP) and Avalere Health to develop and lead a new stakeholder forum dedicated to improving the adoption of enhanced surgery recovery protocols and reduce mortality and morbidity of surgical patients in the U.S.

This forum will be a “national multi-stakeholder partnership and the broad goal will be to foster ongoing stakeholder dialogue and to facilitate this sort of collaborative work and advance adoption...
