J&J-Google Robot Surgery Device A Few Years Away

J&J executives said a robotic surgery device the firm will develop with Internet giant Google should be ready in several years and will “dramatically revolutionize surgery.”

Johnson & Johnson hopes its new partnership with Google Inc. will yield a revolutionary robotic surgery system within the next several years.

“I would say it's a couple of years away,” said Dominic Caruso, J&J’s chief financial officer, during the firm’s April 14 first-quarter earnings call.
