Added Duodenoscope Reprocessing Steps Will Reduce Risks, FDA Says

FDA recommended four additional duodenoscope reprocessing measures hospitals and infection control practitioners can take to reduce infection risks to patients, including microbiological culturing, ethylene oxide sterilization, liquid chemical sterilant reprocessing and repeat high-level disinfection.
