The flow of venture capital deals in the device and diagnostics space continued to hold steady in April. There were 22 transactions totaling $1 million or more recorded last month, and companies raised more than $626 million in total.
The deal volume was similar to activity in April 2015, but the total deal value last month was nearly triple that of the year-ago period, according to an analysis by Gray Sheet sister publication Clinica. That adds to a good number of high-value deals in the first three months of the year. The $2
