To accelerate compliance, HanGenix Inc. is offering an automatic, on-the-spot reminder for caregivers, family members and food service and housekeeping staff. Its ultrasound-based HanGenix Hand Hygiene Compliance System consists of a small tag worn by the caregiver that “chirps” if that person forgets to comply with protocol. The system also records compliance for hospital-wide compilation.
