Home-use, handheld “smart” imaging device to detect breast cancer
Eclipse Breast Health Technologies Inc. is developing an inexpensive, at-home self-examination device to aid in the early detection of breast cancer. The noninvasive, handheld Eclipse device does not use radiation, and is completely painless so women can use it as often as they choose, without any risk of side effects.
