Parylene coating company expands presence in Asia:

Specialty Coating Systems (SCS), a provider of Parylene (a vacuum deposited plastic film) coating services across several industries including medical devices, has established its own full-service Parylene coating facility in China. SCS Shanghai was created following the purchase of SCS's former service partner, Cycad Specialty Coatings Technology. Cycad's subsidiary, China Assembly, will remain distributor of SCS's Parylene deposition systems in the country. With its headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, SCS's presence in Asia includes businesses in Singapore, Japan and Korea.
