New York-based medical products and solutions manufacturer Welch Allyn has completed its $19.2m acquisition of 96% of Dutch company Cardio Control. Initially announced in January 2003, the deal furthers the company's "interest in advancing its worldwide cardio pulmonary and information management market presence", said Welch's group vice-president Bonnie Labosky. Delft-based Cardio Control specialises in diagnostic systems for heart and lung functions. It has also developed software for patient data management.
