GE Medical Systems (GEMS) is forging ahead with its development programme for ultra-high field strength magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) systems.
As well as announcing that it had expanded its global network of research partners that are helping to develop 7T MRI systems, the firm said that a 9.4T superconducting magnet is being tested in its UK development facility in Abingdon
