Fonar CE-marks 360 MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scanner:

Fonar has CE-marked for sale in Europe its FONAR 360 MRI scanner, the third product in the company's three 0.6 Tesla Open MRI products to receive European market go-ahead. The new system features a "no-post" magnet design, whereby the poles of the magnet protrude from the ceiling and the floor, providing a spacious gap for the patient and 360degrees access to physicians performing MRI-guided interventional procedures.
