LabCorp boosts Midwest presence with ViroMed:

Laboratory Corporation of America is to acquire Minneapolis, Minnesota-based ViroMed, a specialised virological infectious disease testing lab with a $25 million annual turnover. LabCorp has been developing regional "centres of excellence" in the US and the acquisition of ViroMed, for an undisclosed amount, also boosts the company's esoteric testing capability.
