Advanced Technology Laboratories' (ATL) appoints Chinese partner:

Shantou Institute of Ultrasonic Instruments is to have exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights for Advanced Technology Laboratories' (ATL) Apogee 800PLUS ultrasound system in China. ATL will continue to manufacture the product for worldwide distribution apart from China at its headquarters in Seattle, Washington. Financial terms were not disclosed. Shantou Institute is the largest manufacturer of ultrasound systems in China.
