Biomagnetic Technologies (US) has received four US patents relating to supporting technology for its biomagnetometer MSI systems, which are used in the non-invasive evaluation of abnormalities in brain and heart function. The patents describe novel sensor array designs that optimise data acquisition and reduce the costs of MSI procedures. BTi, of San Diego, claims to be the world leader in the development of MSI for research and clinical applications.
