Sales were estimated at $584m worldwide in 2009, and are forecast to grow at 6.5% over the 2010-2015 interval. The market has been consolidating over the past few years, with the majority (almost 75%) attributable to three manufacturers. Pregnancy and fertility test kits are now sold in most retail drugstores and pharmacies in the developed world.
