Becton Dickinson has agreed to sell its Discovery Labware business, part of its BD Biosciences unit, to speciality glass and ceramics specialist Corning as it focuses on recent acquisitions and its new instrumentation products. BD described the shift in focus as “essential to our accelerated growth efforts”.
