Big Medtech’s interest in urology deepens as Boston bags AMS men’s health biz

Not long after rival Medtronic made an acquisition in the urology sector, Boston Scientific has followed suit, agreeing to buy American Medical Systems’ urology portfolio from Endo International. The deal is worth $1.6bn upfront and up to $50m in milestone payments.
