UK Accelerated Access Proposals Due Out Soon

One aim of the soon-to-be-published proposals is to make the health environment in the UK more innovation-friendly, in particular for medtech and digital health products. The final report on the government’s Accelerated Access Review should be out by the end of the month.

The keenly awaited report on the UK government-commissioned review that will propose the establishment of a managed accelerated pathway for a limited number of the most promising medical technologies and pharmaceuticals will be out soon. A publication date has yet to be set but hopefully it will be “in the next few weeks,” the Department of Health told Medtech Insight.
