Medical device lobby groups plan to start a new campaign blitz after Congress returns from the Fourth of July recess to pass a standalone medical device tax repeal bill in the US House. With Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement imminent, they want to make sure the bill doesn't get knocked off the agenda by what's expected to be a heated court nomination battle in the Senate, according to AdvaMed spokesman Greg Crist.
