Medtech industry alliances and partnerships

The digitization of health care and the technologies that enable this paradigm shift were evident among a couple of pacts that were sealed in May and June. Propeller Health partnered with Aptar Pharma, combining Aptar's know-how in device development with Propeller's experience in digital therapeutics design and implementation, to work with other pharma companies to develop digital medicines. Specifically, they focus on digital technologies for better inhaled, injectable, nasal and dermal delivery of medicines, while providing real-time patient monitoring, to enable personalized treatments. Both Aptar and Propeller have previously teamed up in 2016 to work on a connected metered dose inhaler for respiratory conditions and this most recent agreement is an expansion of their collaboration.
