Ambu AS granted Cook Medical Inc. rights to distribute its single-use, disposable duodenoscope in the US.

The product is not yet approved by the US Food and Drug Administration, but Ambu anticipates approval sometime before the end of September 2020. Ambu’s sterile duodenoscope is designed to prevent cross-contamination which is prevalent with reusable endoscopes used during gastroenterology procedures
