Sterigenics is facing more than 700 lawsuits brought by people who say they were injured by ethylene oxide (EtO) emissions from a Willowbrook, IL, device sterilization facility, a law firm representing some of the plaintiffs announced recently.
Law firm Romanucci & Blandin said people who lived or worked near the plant filed more than 600 complaints against the company in August, raising the number of cases pending in Cook County courts from 75 to almost 700
