Avenu’s Ellipsys vascular access system is an ultrasound-guided catheter to create a durable arteriovenous fistula for patients undergoing dialysis.

Medtronic plans to acquire Avenu Medical, Inc., the developer of the Ellipsys vascular access system for the endovascular creation of arteriovenous (AV) fistulae in patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing dialysis.
