At two recent confirmation hearings, HHS secretary nominee Xavier Becerra promised Senators he would help expand telehealth and procedure price transparency.

Xavier Becerra promised US Senators at back-to-back confirmation hearings that, if confirmed by the Senate as Health and Human Services Secretary, he will “let science lead” his decisionmaking at HHS and pursue expansion of telehealth reimbursement and hospital procedure price transparency.
