Analyst: OMB Review Of MCIT Breakthrough Rule Hints It May Not Be Implemented Anytime Soon

The US Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is reviewing the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ decision on the Medicare Coverage for Innovative Technology (MCIT) final rule, but one analyst says the CMS is likely to significantly delay implementation or even take the rule back to the drawing board.
